Yeah yeah, OK so it's been a while... Sooorry. I've been a little busy doing other things... sue me. But anyway, now that I'm back, I'll tell you about the overall plan. So the back yard is divided up into 2 clear sections. the entertainment side, and the 'getting stuff done' side. We've been working on the entertainment side for so long that the 'gsd' side has been neglected. But all that is in the process of changing. The little rusty shed has been torn down... you may recall the rat story... and all the trees and crap have also been removed... mind you I'll have to keep a careful eye on those trees... at one stage we had them stump grounded out and yet, they not only survived... they THRIVED! Bloody horrible stuff. The cat is pissed with me though. I'm assuming that over-grown flea cesspit was his hidey-hole. Sorry Baker. So once I've built the two rather large 'vege' garden beds, it'll be a kick arse 'getting stuff done' side. Jane'll pretty much have to share her time 50/50 with the two sides then... ...entertaining ...and then growing rhubarb. The entertainment side is almost complete, but the last stuff is the hardest and most expensive stuff... of course. I need to remove about 4 cubic metres of sand, then lay a concrete pad for where the spa is going to go, and also where the outdoor shower is going... get the outdoor shower tiled... get a sub-station put in the back shed so I have power to the shed and the lights along the back wall that we're currently putting the second coat on... buy the spa and have that craned in onto the new concrete pad... run a conduit back to the shed for power to the spa... have the rest of the 2.4 x 2.4 square where the spa is going decked so it's all sexy like... then run the cold water and hot water pipes from the kitchen all the way down to the back of the block to where the outdoor shower is... get a brick cutter to finish off the paving leading up to the spa... fill up the spa with water... and finally... finally relax. ...reckon I can have it done by the time winter kicks in? Yeah, I'm doubtful too. Either way, the wife has made it all too clear that she wants to spend her Easter holidays working on her vege garden... so that's job number one... after I've moved all that sand out of the spa hole. Crikey... it's just too much. Oh, and I'm also trying to finish off an album... and do about 4 gigs a week. All I can say is, there had better be enough time amongst that lot... for golf. Love Court.
